I am an international modern freestyling violinist from Los Angeles, CA. I service weddings, studio sessions, and events around the world and specialize in Pop & EDM music. I began my musical journey at age 11 and quickly discovered my love for the instrumental through other modern performers. I always wanted to play songs that I liked listening to, so I trained myself to be able to learn and perform any song by ear. From there, I started my performance career at age 16 while busking on the humble streets of downtown Santa Monica. I scored a string of events that would slingshot my emergence into the music and entertainment industry. Fast forward, and my services are now in high demand around the globe, and I am very grateful to those willing to listen!

What he likes best about it: This rosin is extremely grippy even in the harshest of conditions. I mostly service outdoor venues and events with this rosin never failing or falling short. When I record using this rosin, I get that natural sound on the microphone that I really love when the bow makes contact with the strings!"

Josia Nelson
Josiah Nelson is a dynamic fiddle and mandolin player, educator, and touring musician rooted in the traditions of bluegrass while embracing its evolving future. A seasoned performer, he currently holds the fiddle position in the acclaimed progressive bluegrass band Mountain Grass Unit, known for their high-energy instrumentation and fresh take on the genre. Previously, Josiah contributed his talents to The Tray Wellington Band and The Lazy B Wranglers, honing a style that balances technical precision with raw, spirited authenticity.
As an educator, Josiah shares his passion through private instruction and academia. He serves on the faculty of East Tennessee State University’s Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Program, mentoring the next generation of acoustic musicians, and teaches online via Lessonface. With over a decade of teaching experience, his approach blends foundational techniques with the improvisational freedom central to bluegrass, whether guiding fiddle students through bowing nuances or mandolin players toward breakneck chop rhythms.
When not in the classroom or studio, Josiah tours extensively, bringing his deep love for acoustic music to festivals and stages nationwide.

Lucy Becker
Lucy Becker is a singer songwriter and violinist from Lexington Kentucky.
She attended a high school for the performing arts, where she studied a variety of genres including classical, jazz, and soul music. She carried that interest into her studies at the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of the UK Symphony Orchestra and also trained in voice in the University of Kentucky Opera theater.
Following her studies at the University of Kentucky, she enrolled in the Kentucky Center for traditional music at Morehead State University where she earned her degree.
Lucy was the 2023 recipient of the IBMA foundation Rick Lang Scholarship for songwriting as well as the Sally Ann Forrester Scholarship awarded to one female bluegrass musician in 2023. She was also awarded “String Player of the Year” at the Lexi Music Awards consecutively for 2024-2025. She is currently under the instruction of Dr. Roosevelt Escalante whom has had several students on both The Voice and American Idol (Holly Forbes, Zach Day & Makenzie Thomas). Highlights of her post college years include her debut playing fiddle at the Grand Ole Opry.
